Still a work in progress, but one of the reasons Prank Started this blog is there should be a simple destination of online Info-tours, shows, records without Messagge board sniping or an excessive amount of " take this dating test" kind of advertising. I updated the Dates for the CRUDE / UNIT 21 and the AI tour WARCRY AI tour today. There's a lot of band s coming from all over to the Chaos In Tejas look for HJertestop on Tour now and SKITKIDS on the west coast after the fest!!!.

We're also completely stoked on the rare opportunity at "Chaos In Tejas" to see the legendary Tokyo band JUDGEMENT, who feature members who once played in LIPCREAM, GUDON, BASTARD, DEATHSIDE and more. Prank is proud to announce we will have a collaborative 7" release of the last JUDGEMENT CD- only release "Just Be" out as a 7" EP in time for the fest!!!

ENORMOUS DOOR STUDIO= A NEW PROJECT FROM JACK CONTROL!

Jack Control ( severed Head of state, Mind COntrol Records, World Burns to Death) has opened a new studio in Austin, Texas called "Enormous Door" He's recently done mastering work for MARTYRDOD, ATTAKE, GOVERNMENT WARNING and others. Soon he will also be able to record bands at the studio. Here's his message about it:

"So after 15 years of producing/engineering/mastering all of the wb2d/shos/mind control stuff, i've spent the loot and opened my own studio.

i can work wonders with flat/bad recordings. can add depth and dynamics, and with meticulous EQ'ing, compression, limiting, etc... I can lift "the blanket" off of your recording.

can also sequence, do fades, and general editing of your recording.

i don't do vinyl laquer mastering. i do CD mastering/volume maximizing/parametric EQ and multi-band dynamics/stereo imaging/mastering reverb/etc... basically, you track and mix, send it to me, i make it sound way better before it's sent off to be cut to laquer for the vinyl pressing plant.

for cd's i do the same with volume maximization/brickwall limiting/dithering/etc....

i will start tracking and mixing bands here in the next couple of months."
