RECORD STORE ( DAY) OF THE PAST!

Out on the Record hunt this morning, Digging through a pile of 78's, I found the article below from the San Francisco Call Bulletin From Nearly 60 years ago- January 30, 1951 about William Melander's Record Exchange which used to be in Downtown San Francisco's Tenderloin Neighborhood ( and now, apparently is either an apartment building or a parking lot)-one of San Francisco's legendary first used record stores- Anyway, Since tomorrow is "record store Day" ( and Prank has no exclusive releases , but if you're out anyway look for the new ICE NINE and DESOLATION records!) I thought We'd share this. You'll need to toggle between the two Jpegs to read it through, but enjoy how little the hobby has changed in half a century!
